Get to know and heal yourself, part by part.

“I am constantly being encouraged to pluck out one aspect of myself and present this as the meaningful whole, eclipsing or denying the other parts of self.”

― Audre Lorde, Sister Outsider: Essays and Speeches

Every part of us has a story and a reason for being here.

Some parts learned to protect, others hold pain or carry the weight of what we’ve been through. They formed from early roles we played, lessons about what was safe to show, and ways we learned to stay connected or survive.

In therapy, we get curious about these parts, not to change or silence them, but to understand what they’ve been trying to do for us and what they might need now.

You might recognize some of these parts in yourself:

An Inner Critic
